Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman does not rule out holding an extraordinary meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament if a high-quality agenda is elaborated to take decisions able to overcome the crisis in the country.

Groysman said this in his interview for the Rada TV Channel on Friday.

"I see no problems in convening an extraordinary meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament basing on a high-quality agenda. It is required to take all important decisions to overcome the crisis in Ukraine," he said.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that first of all, the politicians have to find a solution "the Ukrainian Parliament will be able to implement, accept and realize." "The most important is the agenda to be elaborated for such an extraordinary meeting," he said.

Groysman noted that as the head of the Ukrainian Parliament he did not have any right to unilaterally convene an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, so only at least 150 people's deputies have to initiate it.
